Elizabeth studied law in University College Dublin and followed that up by completing a diploma in business studies in the Michael Smurfit Business School. She trained with A&L Goodbody and qualified into their Banking Group, where she spent the next five years as an associate. Elizabeth subsequently worked in the Finance Group in ByrneWallace and joined Maples and Calder in 2012. She was made partner in the Finance Group in January 2014.


Elizabeth is a finance and banking lawyer and works with financial institutions and other non-bank lenders, as well as borrowers (corporates, funds and others), across a wide range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions, involving real estate investment and development financing, leveraged acquisition financing and project financing. Elizabeth also advises on loan portfolio sales, acting on the vendor side as well as the purchaser side.
